Carboxy Therapy

carboxy-machine2

Carboxy Therapy is a non-surgical procedure used to infuse Carbon Dioxide (CO2) gas into the subcutaneous tissue with a very small needle.  CO2 diffuses easily into the area treated by creating three main functions:

First
: It produces lypolisis, which destroys fat cells by breaking the membranes.

Secondly
: It has a strong vasodilatory effect (widening of blood vessels) in the area.  It also increases the percentage of oxygen in the tissue.  Wider vessels mean bigger and stronger blood flow to the area.   The increase of oxygen is important because it eliminates the build up of fluid from between the cells.

Thirdly
:  It improves cutaneous elasticity, and introduces rejuvenation of the dermis (skin).

Ultimately your skin becomes healthier and tighter!

CO2 is naturally produced by the cells in our bodies every day. Its a product of normal metabolism, where it is transported in the blood and exhaled within a few minutes from our lungs.

Dark Under Eye Circles

The number one complaint from clients is the “tired look”, due to dark circles under the eyes.  The majority of dark  eye circles are caused by “poor circulation” beneath the lower eyelids.  Although it can sometimes be caused by hollow depression or darkened pigment.  Injecting a small amount of CO2 just beneath the skin can dramatically improve the appearance of the dark circles. It improves circulation and stimulates the production of collagen.  This procedure takes 5 minutes and is virtually painless.  A series of 2-6 treatments are recommended to achieve maximum results.  Clients are ecstatic about the results that have been achieved by the CO2 injections.

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks (striae) is a streak or wide linear band that occurs in areas of collagen damage due to stretching of the skin.  Stretch marks are most commonly seen in the areas are the abdomen, thighs, buttocks and breasts.  Ninety percent of pregnant women experience stretch marks due to increased stress on the collagen and elastin in the skin.  Carboxy Therapy is the only treatment available for new and old stretch marks that visibly repairs the damaged collagen. By injecting CO2 it stimulates the formation of new collagen and thickens the skin to improve the appearance of stretch marks.  Treatments could range from 6 to 10 visits.
